When Your Submission Doesn’t Get…
It is a fact that there can not be presumptions as regards the kind of content that will strike a chord with the readers, and grab their attention. Writers can definitely be satisfied with their effort but never get overconfident as regards the reception.
What palpably hurts most is when the content doesn’t get the readership it deserves.
Besides the writer, who’s obviously responsible for presenting their work in the best possible manner, it is also the responsibility of the publication to promote the submitted content at regular intervals, and ensure it gets as much visibility as possible.
However, when a publication gets submissions galore, most of the content received is given little importance, and simply gets dumped.
There are few publications that invest time in promoting content and ensuring it gets a wider audience base. This is unfortunate, but true.
