Travel Is Always about the Execution

Traveling is not about planning every time. It is albeit always about the execution. This is what I have become aware of after having travelled for well over two decades, and visited 65 countries, many hundred cities and a lot of the countryside.

On multiple occasions during a given year, the compulsory leaves beg to be utilized. They dreamed of new destinations. For someone who loves to travel — albeit not the touristy kind — it is usually the elaborate journeys that I cherish the most.

There are times when I indulge in some planning, keeping the crowd factor in mind. Otherwise, I simply set off to a new destination sans any plan. Truth be told, it is possibly the best way to surprise oneself. Besides, I believe you should always travel whenever possible. You can never say when things come to a standstill and plans go for a toss.

For instance, the year 2020 began on a beautiful note. On the New Year I left Seville for Malaga. The plan was fairly simple — to explore Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun) in the New Year. While Malaga was without doubt going to be the base, high on the agenda was to travel to…
