The Short-Form Content Catalog
These write-ups have fewer words but more depth
The short-form writing is my absolute favorite. Besides working on elaborate articles that require elaborate details and extensive research, I also attempt to express myself through a few words as and when possible. In fact, by restricting the word count, I have actually increased the possibilities as regards my writing.
There are many a draft that have benefitted from this, drafts that possibly need only a few words to be explained and those that would otherwise remain incomplete.
Perhaps the basic requirement for such drafts is the fact that they are to be written in a precise and succinct manner, within a certain word limit. There is absolutely no point in unnecessarily dragging the point these drafts are trying to make.
Focusing on short articles, that require pertinent writing and some crispness during editing, has made the completion of such drafts possible. It has ensured them a culmination, albeit with a logical conclusion, thereby making them more relevant.
More importantly, such short form articles tend to do well. With the attention span of readers getting reduced considerably, it is how well you express yourself, in as fewer words as possible, that does the trick.
