When it comes down to the published drafts, it will be anything but an exaggeration to say that the distribution mechanism on this platform leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn’t matter how well it is written, how many followers/subscribers a writer has and how many claps/comments a published article manages to secure, the overall figures are disappointing.

A writer may strictly adhere to the guidelines, and format the draft as required, but the ever-changing algorithm offers no guarantee as regards views and readership. On the contrary, there is a great deal of assurance as regards the fact that a significant majority of the articles written by most writers on this platform will get insignificant traction.

The rule doesn’t apply to a handful, few, of course. No wonder, there have been multiple periods when many writers have either significantly decreased their involvement, or quit the platform altogether.
