The Best… That Didn’t Need a B****
There were only a handful of my articles that performed decently well despite not having received a helping hand
This is a fact, accepted or otherwise, that a significant majority of the articles that are published on this esteemed platform struggle to obtain decent views. Most writers can actually forget about the reads.
It really doesn’t matter if a writer exercises the option to self-publish, or submits an unpublished draft to an established publication that boasts of a follower count in four-figures (or even more), the results are disappointing more often than not.
The ever-changing algorithm is anything but a guarantee of views and readership. Again, it doesn’t matter if it is accepted or not, the “Friend” initiative failed to provide the impetus that was expected of it. On the contrary, it has turned out to be a damp squib. The only thing that ensures a published draft some traction (read views and reads) is the boost nomination.
If a published draft is not boosted, the chances of it getting a satisfactory number of views and reads is distinctly remote. Let’s not discuss the monetary aspect at all. Add to this the lackadaisical…
