Why do you submit an article to a publication on this platform?
It is an attempt on your part to ensure more views and readership for your effort. Am I right, or am I right?
It is not always a smart strategy, though. If a publication that boasts of around 50,000 followers cannot ensure 100 views, what is the point in submitting to them, and adhering to their ever-changing rules? In recent times, some publications have inadvertently come up with a noble strategy to kill stories. It involves a stock clearance on a given day. Confused?
Well, let me explain.
It involves a genius idea of first creating a backlog, and then clearing it.
In a given timeframe, you will see only one or two stories published each day. You may wait for a response, or for your story to go up. It won’t. Not yet. In fact, there will also be days when no stories get published by the publication at all.
