Shawn, I enjoyed reading your comparison.

That being said, and no offence meant, compariing European cafes to those in America is kinda belittling the former.

It is like comparing pizza from Italy with the high-calorie concoctions that Americans consume in the name of pizza.

To give credit where it is due, America markets products very well, and the same applies to food brands. But in terms of the ambience and the qaulity of the offering... sorry to say but I want to live a healthy life :)
