Those who read my contributions to this platform on a regular basis are well aware that the running theme of this blog is Ditch the Niche. I make a conscious effort to provide my readers with adequate variety, as in a varied range of subjects to choose from.
From slice of life stories to history, from economics to politics, from travel to sports… on this blog the readers and subscribers have a gamut of options to choose from. Then, of course, there is writing advice provided based on first-hand experiences and observations.
I am very grateful that you, my dear readers, have appreciated my efforts at writing on different topics at regular intervals. I look forward to your continued appreciation and support, even as I attempt to expand my horizons further and try writing on new topics.
In sync with the running theme, I started making contributions about cinema some time towards the end of last year. The endeavor has continued well into the year. Below are seven of my posts about the movies I ended up liking, or not quite liking. I am no film critic, but this attempt pertains to having cinematic experiences and expressing an honest opinion — for your perusal, of course.
