It made for a nice read Amir.

While you have a perspective I have met quite a few young Moroccans who, instead of enjoying the bliss in their country, gathered all of their savings and moved to live among the miserable people in Europe.

All of them complained about lack of opportunities, poor quality of life and other similar reasons for their move. Yet, it it these people who move to a new country out of choice but cannot adapt because their religion fails to teach them that. They cannot respect their own choice. Every time I meet them it is the same old story.

Religion is all about convenience. It may teach to consider yourself superior, put diktats over what to do and what not to, and take total control over human life, yet it will never teach better administration, the futility of a poor country have lots of people or for that matter having respect for other religions...Learning to live and let live.

It is irony that countries where boys and girls are forbidden from meeting socially end up making the most additions to an already bloated planet :)

What the young Moroccan man told you is for sure an aberration, not the norm. I respect what he said and wish it was true for the majority. Fact is, religion teaches anything but tolerance.
