Enchanting Episodes from Estonia
Besides visiting Tallinn for one more time, I also made a maiden trip to Tartu, which will officially enjoy the status of the European Capital of Culture in 2024
Tallinn happens to be one of my favourite cities, and I never let go of an opportunity to visit the city and soak in its culture. Recently, I was back in the Estonian capital, and had ensured booking for a long number of days to revisit some of my favourite spots.
The Estonian capital is brimming with culture and boasts a diverse nightlife scene. Tallinna Vanalinn [Tallinn Old Town] is a beautiful, fairy-tale setting. Spontaneous shows, with people dressed in medieval costumes, are anything but a surprise. The area is charming, vibrant, full of life and it is a matter of time before a visitor gets immersed in that atmosphere.
In fact, it is the overall vibe that is the single most discerning factor about the old town in the Estonian capital. However, there was an addition to the agenda during this trip. I had planned to head to a city I had not been to before.
