It’s a postcard-pretty nation on the northern tip of the Adriatic, and a nature lover’s delight. It is a land where every step you take brings you closer to nature.
The elaborate green fields, a plethora of beautifully colored houses and the snow-capped mountains all combine to make a stunning landscape. It is the pristine natural beauty that has made this tiny European country one of my favorite go-to destinations.
Slovenia is surreal, and helps me to forge an intimate connection with nature. I am more tempted by the simple rural life, in a sharp contrast to the urban setting that I call home at present.
Having said that, one day I dream of giving up the monotonous city-life altogether, heading to the countryside, and living and working with nature. As such, a small but naturally beautiful nation like Slovenia can definitely be considered among the future options.
