… Is the greatest accomplishment — There is no point in trying to impress others. Do not change yourself so that the others will like you. If someone likes you, they will do so despite all your flaws. It’s a fact. Conversely, if someone doesn’t like you, no matter what you do, it won’t be enough to win that person’s affection. You will keep craving the same thing and getting disappointed. No one is perfect. Neither are you, nor is the person you are trying hard to impress. As such, trying to please somebody may benefit you to some extent, but in the long run, it is nothing but an exercise in futility. Likewise, there is no point in expecting others to change and impress you.
